Kaylee's Thought's 7/25/1999 - 8/27/1999 Well hello there! I hope you all like my new web design, because daddy sure did spend allot more time on it than he told me he was going to. I was ready to let all of you in on my new thought's a couple of weeks ago, but daddy kept telling no because he was not ready to type them in for me yet. He finally had the time though, so here they are! I beg for your forgiveness again though, because my memory is bad and it has been awhile since I last did my thoughts. It will be much easier once I can type myself so that I do not have to rely on daddy. Lets see now. I do remember going to the airshow in the beginning of August, and boy was it loud! Grandma and Grandpa Sachau were also there and everyone took turns with helping me by covering my ears. It got dark while we were there and that is when the planes started to shoot light of of them. Mommy and daddy say that those lights were fireworks. They also had a car there that was really really loud, and I do mean loud. Again, I was told that there was a jet engine on the car and that is why it was so loud. All I know is that it was loud and had those fireworks coming out of the back end again. Daddy said it was just flames, but I say it was more fireworks. I had my picture taken with Grandpa next to a Stealth Fighter to. It was a pretty weird looking plane that is for sure. I am still eating Babies First Stages baby food. I can even feed myself! Mommy will put some food on my spoon and I will take it from her and put it right in my mouth. The only problem is though that mommy keep trying to take the spoon away from me after I eat what is on it. I try not to let her, but after a few seconds she wins and gets it away from me. Sometimes when I am eating, I also like to blow my spit bubbles before I have swallowed what is in my mouth. Mommy and daddy do not appreciate it to much, but hey, I am almost 6 months old and I can do whatever I want to. Just like saying that. Daddy said that I can not say that and that he would not type it in, but who won on that one?! We just got back from Florida where I was able to meet all sorts of people who I am told I am related to. Great Uncle's and Aunt's along with second cousin's and I even met my Great Grandpa and Great Grandma for the first time! It was another one of those weddings, and I could not resist but to try and learn a few more words during the ceremony. Daddy took me out of the room as usual when I try to learn more words at weddings, but I was still able to watch through a window in the hallway. I am told that it was my second cousin Melissa who was getting married to her new husband Jeff. At the reception I did allot of dancing with my Great Uncle TJ. Grandpa would try to get me to dance with him, and Uncle TJ would run around the table with me. I guess Uncle TJ really likes me. I did not mind him not giving me to Grandpa though because who knows when I will ever see Uncle TJ again. Our flight home from Florida was a long one since we missed our first flight. Apparently the airlines told mommy and daddy that the plane was delayed until around 5:00. So they took me to the food court where they ate and fed me. We went back to the gate at 4:30 and our plane was already locked up and ready to pull away from the gate. Apparently they changed the flight to a delayed status and then back to an on-time status. Daddy was really mad when he asked for compensation and they told him it was is fault he missed the flight. Finally daddy was told that our tickets were upgraded to first class. Once on the plane though he realized that row 7 was the first row of coach. After calling the executive office we did end up getting a $250 voucher for our next flight, but daddy wanted more than that because they also lied to us. He asked for 2 first class tickets to Minnesota in October, but they said no. Daddy said one more flight with American Airlines to use the voucher and then never again. Well, that wraps up my thoughts for now. Oh, you want to know if I am doing anything new yet. Well, I almost have the bottle thing down, I still need a little help every once in awhile though. I also almost have this crawling thing down. In a couple of weeks I should be traveling all over the house! And as I said earlier, I am trying to learn how to feed myself with a spoon. I have to get going now though. I look forward to telling you my thoughts next time. |
